Stock Building Supply Announces New Director of Installed Sales

Raleigh, NC – February 3, 2010 – Stock Building Supply Holdings, LLC (“Stock”), an affiliate of The Gores Group, announces that J. Michael Butts has joined the company as the new Director of Installed Sales.

Butts brings to Stock a wealth of experience in consulting, training and education. His prior roles include independent consulting in sales management and employee education and training for lumber and building material dealers. He also served as vice president and director of education for the Michigan Lumber & Building Materials Association. Later he became installed sales director for United Building Centers in Minnesota, now ProBuild. Mike’s recent role has been president and founder of LBM Solutions, Inc., a firm specializing in installed sales consulting and training for the building supply industry.

Butts has also been a featured columnist for ProSales Magazine, a member of the ProSales advisory board and a regular speaker at many lumber industry events.

As Director of Installed Sales, Butts will bring his experience in all aspects of the installation services segment, from retail-oriented sales, through new construction, to commercial installations.
